Developing Leadership

Developing leadership is something that we are passionate about. The role of the leader and the beliefs of people in their own leadership (irrespective of their position in the organisation) is critical in determining the effectiveness of an organisation.

There is much that has been written, debated and practiced in the field of leadership. We understand these models and beliefs but would say that at the end of the day the only thing that is true and unites all of these is that “Leadership makes the difference to organisational performance”.

It does not have to be boastful or big or clever – it needs to be considered, right sized and modest, oriented to serving the organisation and the people in it and not the leader themself.

Leadership development is therfore tailored to each and every unique situation and individual, team and organisational purpose

We work in partnership with other organisations conducting original research into what makes the real difference in leadership effectiveness. We have a particular interest in the actual practical things leaders need to do to make a real difference.

We have worked with a wide range of companies in the following areas:

  • Developing leadership frameworks for merging and acquiring companies
  • Developing newly formed leadership teams
  • Unsticking well established leadership teams who are not maximising business value
