Executive Coaching
We offer coaching in either groups or as an individual and we offer this both in person and through the telephone and internet.
Coaching can be described as an organised way of creating reflective space in which to work on specific issues. These can range from issues connected to performance at work e.g. leadership coaching, coaching for performance or personal or life issues.
Coaching is a powerful intervention that can create cultural change because it can be applied to all levels in the organisation for all types of situations and roles. It is not fixed in its approach so supports a changing culture. It focuses on personal action and accountability so has impacts throughout the organisation.
Coaching allows individuals to:
- Clearly recognise their goals and improve their awareness of where they currently are in relation to them
- Expand and develop awareness of the options available to help them achieve success
- Help them plan and realise their development to deliver improved performance.
- Use coaching skills with others thus creating increased capability throughout the organisation
Coaching is a two way partnership where one person (the coach) supports the other person (the coachee) using non-directive techniques of listening, inquiry and action planning. The fundamental principle behind coaching is that the individual is capable of owning and solving their own problems and that supporting, questioning and eliciting – rather than telling or directing – will empower individuals to reach their goals faster and with greater satisfaction.

These techniques permit the coachee to increases their level of self awareness which enables greater flexibility and choicefulness of the actions that are available to them.
